Horn Worm Food

So-- i was wondering what people have used aside from the traditional "horn worm chow" you can buy in stores~~

Has anyone used:
silkworm food
fruit fly media
straight mulberry leaves
some crazy homemade concoction

???

You could always use collard greens and mustard greens, because hornworm food and silkworm food are all artificial. They will grow real fast on these greens too!

you can use silk worm food but it turns the horn worm a different color it is ok to feed them it 100% safe, horn chow keeps them that bright green color

Has anyone tried fruit fly media before? Or mulberry leaves?

ok so the hornworm pod I got has no more food in it, since all the fatty's gobbled it up within a week, so can I feed them lettuce and carrots until my boy can eat them all. (THEY GOT HUGE) so I cant feed him as much in one day

Just lettuce, they like leafy greens, hornworm chow is ok for them, but it's butter to feed them natural things!

The only thing I was able to get them to eat was peppers. And by eat, I mean torn apart and rolled into many tiny balls.
