Horn worm question

Ok guys i have a question If i catch tomato worms from a tomato plant can i feed them gutload to cleance them from the tomato plant and make them safe for the chams. I know tomato plants are toxic and they can have parasites and blah blah..... I just want to know if they can be detoxified or cleansed some way.

I would advise not to, I looked into it in the past; I found no way. Just buy the eggs or the worms.

ok what if i catch 500 or so and let them cocoon then lay eggs, will the off spring be fine to feed.
