Hornworm too big??

I have a 5 month old female veiled, she is still relatively small (see attached picture) and I have hornworms for her that have gotten pretty large. This one (see picture) is over 3 inches long. I’m scared to feed her a worm this large, will it bite her?

Personally I do not feed them when they are larger then an inch and half long... Their skin gets firmer as they grow and their mandibles get larger. Easier to get a bite to the mouth and some chams can struggle to get them down when they are larger.
Next time you get horns... Cycle them in the fridge on the door. 24 hours in 24 hours out this will slow growth.

I think that hornworm is too big, I have a female veiled around the same age, and small insects are good for her. Also, a hornworm that big could probbably be harmful to a cham. The rule is to keep the insects that you feed the size as the space between the eyes.
