Hornworms are like land mines.....................I stepped on one

Today I accidentally left the lid open to the hornworm cup and four of them crawled out while i was in the garage, and when I came back to my room three of them were on the ground so I picked them up and put them back in. Well apparently I missed one and I left the room for like ten minutes, when I came back to my room there was one in the middle of my carpet. I DIDNT NOTICE IT, and I.......................stepped on it. It sprayed everywhere Now there is hornworm juice all over my carpet, how do I clean this crap?? I feel so bad

I was........the pop was the thing that scared me, then I felt all the guts. I still love these hornworms, they are so easy to care for and treat some dehydration, My boy's poop is all white now because he has so much urate from all the hornworms.
