Hornworms for 5 month old veiled

I just received two cups of hornworms in the mail. They're all about 1-2 inches. How many a day should my 5 month old veiled eat? Is it okay to feed these daily?

im no expert, but i do know you do not want to feed hornworms daily. i think its like one or two a week.

id def mix them up with other feeders. however if you bought that many for one guy they may outgrow him. last time i ahd worms was giving as many as 5 (silk + horn) with some crickets. problem with doing excessive amount of hornworms are they are essentially sacks of water

Hornworms are a great feeder to add to your rotation. They can make up around 20% of the diet. I do have one guy that only eats certain feeders and many times hornworms make up about 50% of his diet.

Nutritional content:

Calcium: 46.4mg/100g

I bought a bunch once, I'm guessing maybe 150 or so? They all died before I had a chance to feed half of them, and I had 18 chameleons at the time. I fed them one each every 3-4 days or so. They smell god awful when they die.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'll go out and buy some crickets today to mix it up a bit. Would it be okay if I were to feed off a hornworm daily along with a few crickets?
