I have about 15 large hornworms / Goliath Worms I ordered from mulberryfarms.com. I ordered to many and these ones grew way to big for my veiled chameleon to eat. They are around 3"-4" long. If anyone wants them, let me know. I will give you the case from mulberry farms that they came in, which still has some chow at the top of it.

You can have them for free.

I'd rather give these away than have to kill them and throw them out. You can contact me at: (650) 245-3910 if interested or private message me. I'm not shipping them, locals in San Diego only please, to come pick up.

You can try to grow them out until they morph into moths, then your veil will LOOOOOVE you more for the 'take n go' menu. :D

I was thinking about that, but I dont know if my veiled could eat the moths, they may grow to big for him. He's about 4.5" long, not including tail. He's maybe 4 or 5 months old. Do you think they will be to big for him? And how would i go about keeping the moths, should i get a small reptibreeze or something along those lines?

Thanks :)

Yeah, you are probably right. They would beat up your guy.

I guess when they get too big to eat from the cup ( 4" or so) you can put them in another container with some crinkled papertowel and there they will 'burrow' and start their cocoon phase.

I am sure if you go into Search mode on the forum or Google , you can get better and more detailed info then my limited experience.

By the by, you probably should re-post your ad under the classifieds to get better results and limit obnoxious comments from people like me. :D

heh I was thinking about attempting to breed hornworms, but it seems like to much work, would rather just raise silk's from eggs.

Does anyone want these hornworms? I can send pics to if you would like. FREE by the way :). Would rather give them to someone who could use them.
