In all of you more experienced persons, which is the better feeder in your opinion and why? Going to order one or the other later today so all opinions welcome :)

Silkworms are used more as a primary feeder and hornworms are a secondary feeder. We use hornworms anytime we think hydration might be an issue, like after egg laying. Both are good for different things.

How often could hornworms be fed and how often could silkworms be fed?

Silkworms can be 40-50% of diet and hornworms 15-25% that maybe based on expense for the hornworms more than nutrition.
Ok, where can I find silkworms cheaper? Everywhere I've looked they are all approximately the same amount as hornworms.

I have a deal with my gf she raises silkworms from eggs and we trade for other feeders. When she can get mulberry leaves they cost approx 40 cents each. Twice that if she buys the chow. We buy our feeders in person and when the hornworms are getting too old they throw in a few containers for free but we are buying for up to 60 chameleons at a time. Unless I have a gravid female about to clutch I don't buy hornworms.
