Hospital Bin Help

So I would like to set up a hospital bin for Montague since I am worried about him falling/getting around in his viv. How should I go about this? Pictures would be most useful.
I have a large plastic tub that I got when moving, would this be suitable? Should I put substrate at the bottom? I take him to the vet on Friday, but would like to keep him safe/well until then.

I also have 3 curious dogs, so keeping him safe from them is a slight concern. Just worried for my kiddo.

I guess I was thinking more of something to hold him in until we're able to get to the vet. He has MBD and I'm worried about him falling/getting hurt in his tall viv because he's not as strong. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong term..

You can do something like this... Then you only have UVB on the top.
