anyone ever feed house flies to your chams? ive fed my little guy two today and he loves them!

I feed cultured house flies to my chameleons all the time along with blue bottle flies. Feeding wild caught flies can be bad for your chameleons as they are known to carry diseases and parasites due to their diets. Normally I'm all for the wild caught prey items but not with flies. They are so cheap to buy cultured anyways. Chameleons do go nuts for them though.

Unfortunately, yes, and now they are addicted!
They are great for if I am going to be gone overnight somewhere and can't feed the next day, the flies settle down at night and don't harass the chams when they are sleeping. I really like using the BB flies.

And I only purchase them online...
