How about cricketsicles?

So long story short Molly needs to be force fed and I have been freezing the crickets to make it easier to feed her. I was thinking, anyone hear about the woolly mammoth that was discovered frozen in ice with all flesh and fur intact and preserved, along with the food in it's stomach? Well I wonder if the same thing would happen with crickets. If I freeze each meal in individual ice cubes will it preserve them better than just freezing them? I find that freezing them makes them a bit chewy and the exoskeleton is tougher, elastic like.

Try smashing them into a paste and feed her the paste? Or hold them by both back legs so they can't jump and squirm away then feed them to her.

I have been getting them from two different places. No it's me. I but them in the freezer for a couple minutes to slow them down so i can get some out and work with them but I have ADHD and forget about them a lot. By the time I remember it's been about 10 mins and they're dead =P

Have you tried silkworms......they are slower and softer and would also hydrate her :)

Edit: I wouldnt use them as a staple though

In the misc for sale section there are some pretty cheap silkworms. If you ask for the largest and breed them you'd only have to pay for chow. :)
