How can i make dubias mor enticing to my chams. they pretty much just sit there.
The roaches would have to move when the door is closed because my chams still run to the back when I open the door

flip them on their back, the legs moving might help.

or place a cricket or two in with them, which will get the roaches scurrying.

how long will they keep moving when they are on their backs

ill try the cricket thing too

mine would move for abit, then stop for a bit, move then stop

they also scooted themeselves around my food tub on their backs like this.

ok cool is there a secret to get them on their backs. because they seem to grab on to my fingers when ever i pick them up

mmm.. i just throw them.
i also.. dont touch them. LOL.
:D

You don't?!?! I touch mine .... with a pair of tweezers! ROFL! Horrid things - I hate the noise their feet make in the tub and I hate their nasty spiky legs! Ugh! No touching for me either!:D

Nope! i use cardboard and scoopo them into a cup, and then toss them into the food bin in the cage,

I need to order some tweezers for them.. ugh... icky.

I use the cardboard from an empty toilet paper roll. They climb right on the inside if you set it over them. Then just tap the side to get them out.

The things we do for our chammies! I couldn't even hold a tub of locusts or crickets before I got my dear Lily back in 2008! I have learnt such a lot from my chameleons! I also use the flick with something method when I clean them out. Usually most of them stay huddled under the egg crate but the remaining few get flicked, lol! Couldn't bear those scratchy legs anywhere near my hands!
