How Do I feed my chameleon fruits and other things?

I don't think chameleons eat fruit, or even should. I'm not sure they can process sugar very well... maybe try collard greens, turnip greens or mustard greens instead.

You are correct, they do not process sugar like we do and it can be harmful to their health. If you want a list of healthy foods for a gutload or right to your cham, check out this list: https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/gutloading-ingredients.161898/
For regular straight-to-mouth feeding, I suggest using ingredients that are easy to eat, such as oranges or collard greens. The other ingredients such as spirulina and quinoa would be too good for the digestive system. Those ingredients should be kept in a gutload only.
The best thing for veiled chameleons to eat whole are vegetables and greens, since they would most likely find those in the wild. Good luck, hope this helped.

Well, @CharlesYamaguchi told me this when I was curious about how chameleons digested apples. I will try to find the thread where to conversation happened. I ma not sure how deep his knowledge goes about this subject, but he did tell me to cut out apples because they are sugary and pretty much fruit in general.

I know the thread you're referring to...it's the one that started me looking at fructose....but want to read some sites that talk about the issues chameleons have with processing fructose to help me decide if there are changes to be made. I want to know if they do, what it causes and how much will cause it and ...if it's true... how come it's ok to feed the chameleon's such things as fruit flies and other insects that should have fruit in their guts, etc.
