how do i sex a panther?

Nope, it isn't. Look at the base of the tail. If you have a bump you have a male. My panther has taken bites out of leaves but only once in a while.

Males have a noticeable bulge in their tails near the vent....they also r colorful..
Ive never heard of them eating plant matter.....but not really sure

is it the same for sexing a veiled? also do panthers eat plants??:rolleyes:

veileds have spurs on the heel of the back feet that determine if it male or not (no spurs, then its female)

panther dont eat plants like veileds, but chew on stuff as babies

sexing a panther is not an easy task, it takes experience to know what to look for, usually the base of the tail will have a small buldge, or sac (small space where it would fill in) but this is very hard to see and is even hard sometimes for the pros to spot..
