Lol it looks good to me seems deep enough sitting in the cage but I have 0 experience with a female laying eggs so if someone else says something different I would lean on them more than me

I don't honestly prefer tapered pots for lay bins. Just be ready to transfer to a larger vessel if need be

Just curious what is your preferred method for laying bins

its about 16 inches deep

I like either deep storage bins or go a wider trash can route. The tapered bottom (if you have a girl who is a real digger) can cause possible problems and she may not find it suitable after a few test digs. But if you are using it for an in cage one that would work fine, and just have a back up if need be <3

My chameleon is laying eggs as we speak !! I just can't go in my room until she's done .. don't wanna scare her . Sleeping on the coach tonight ! Should I leave her lights on over night just this once ?

Naw, if she's still in the hole she will either sleep there or go a bit higher and sleep. Either way she knows what she is doing. Often the girls can take around just over a day to finish digging if their are specific.
