How does my new veiled chameleon look?

I have had it for 2 days now. Also is it a male or female? Thanks for your time . It is also in shedding.

Looks good. Where did you get it? If you got a better picture of its back foot/feet, it'd be easier to determine, second picture is kinda blurry. But, I'd guess right now, female. But like I said, if you get a better picture of a back foot, it'd be easier to determine.

We need to see the back of the rear feet to tell. Male veileds have a little spur at the base between toes. And I think he/she looks healthy, that's what the babies at the pet shop I got my veiled from looked like. Just read up on everything to keep it healthy, because those babies now could be doing better than the way they are taken care of in that shop... The member Jannb has a great blog on her page for baby veiled chameleons. Pretty much covers everything you need.

By that last picture, I'm thinking female. But, still kinda on the fence about saying it for sure.

It wouldn't hurt for more pictures. For shedding, nothing else is needed, except maybe more humidity.

congrats on the pretty vieled. make sure the enclosure has enough time to air out and dry properly between mistings.. looks like he/she is in a exoterra or an aquarium. if it is not able to dry out between misting properly.....will cause fungus and possibly a ri. maybe i missed this in another posting but just to make sure you and your chameleon have great years ahead of you. please fill out the "how to ask for help" form.

* Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
* Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?

Cage Info:

* Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?

At that age, I would suggest it a little warmer. At this age, they use the heat to digest their food. I would suggest to get it a little warmer, to about 83-85 degrees.
