How does your chameleon spend his/her time?

Another open-ended thread from me.

What does your chameleon spend most of their time doing during the day?
My guy seems to spend 6-9 hours basking (not all at once) spaced out with periodic bouts of climbing up and down and around. What does yours do?

My male panther is constantly on the move, climbing around everywhere. My two veileds pretty much just chill. Oh and the female gets very angry and hisses when I mist, lol

My male veiled likes to bask and watch the water drip from the water system all day (except for when he's hungry)

Amy (Veiled) is lazy and stays under her basking lamp all day, lol! Monty (Jackson baby) will bask and eat for most of the morning and he wanders his viv occasionally. In the afternoon he likes to walk around on his mesh top! In the evening a couple of hours before lights out he roams a lot and will sit right by his door occasionally.

Mine discuss Quantum Theory although they tend to become quiet when I come in the room. I assume it’s so they don’t embarrass me as I’m not up on the latest in Physics. They also spend a good part of their day being ungrateful towards everything I'm providing for them.

Trace have them call me, I host a club for such discussions, maybe you could sit in and catch up? It would also do wonders to get my chams into it, as right now they just seem to spend 6-9 hours basking (not all at once) spaced out with periodic bouts of climbing up and down and around.

My monster see's how many new hiding places he can find in his room - he actually has a room and the rotten thing that he is, he makes me find him just so I can be sure he is ok!!! And worst yet, I do it:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Mine is always moving...Ive created a highway of branches for him so he can go to all his favorite spots. His favorite spot is climbing the red hanger from the pothos plant =]

My guy spends a lot of time in a gangsta lean getting his Jersey Shore on (GTL) mainly T!

he always seems to lean wayyy over to one side to expose as much of his side to the basking light as possible.

sometimes he hunts around and tries to eat his poo, this is the hint to feed him. He eats then back to leaning, then be might hang from the top of the cage upside down for about 30 minutes then hang on the side for like 10min. then back to leaning again!

Then he makes his way to his spot, curls up his tail, puts his jammies on and looks at me like " set this timer back a bit, it's time for some shut eye"

my two veileds just seem to spend sixtynine hours basking (not all at once) spaced out with periodic bouts of climbing up and down and around.

Chameleon's Day

My Veiled Basks in the morning for a few hours, after if he needs to poop he goes to the bottom of his cage and climbs back up and then basks. After he walks around his ficus plant and then finally basks and after he goes to bed.

Mine walks around all day and once in a while hides really well (especially when my house gets cleaned  ) haha I've wanted to put like a surveillance camera to see what he does when I'm not around :p

A (poor) vid of my xanth and her (terrible) setup when I first got her. Its over the course of 8ish hrs. a shot every 5sec. Begining is the best part...

That is a sickkk video, it's good to see a time lapse to see what they really do with their day. What your Cham does seems to be the same my Cham does ( read my post).

You notice your Cham taking time to bask on each side.

Karma likes to surf the web on her freetime. Its no big deal, shes kinda a techie.

Leon spends most of his time pacing back and forth at the top of his enclosure. Then he rips a bunch of his leaves off his tree and attempts to climb down his tree to eat the dirt (which is impossible).

Lmao! You don't say!!! Mine do the same. Then they pose for the camera like they're famous.
