How early is to early?

i have some 3 month old ambilobe, and i was wondering if it is to early to let them free range, id be there with them everystep of the way, but should i wait till they are still perfectly calm in cages, so they dont think the tree is home?

You might run into a problem in that once he taste "freedom" he will constantly be roaming his cage looking for a way out and not settle down to bask and soak up uvb. If you do decide to do it, set up a schedule for him. I let mine out late in the evening when I get home from work and let him sleep out. In the morning I turn on the room light, let him wake up a minute and then put him in his cage where he goes straight for the basking lamp. JMO.

same here.. but Clyde would stay out all day if it was his choice..lol
