i've not heard of repticarpet, what's it made of? if it makes cleaning easier & lowers risk of ingestion, I'd love to get some.
okay i changed up some stuff according to the advice, the waterbowl i made it into a superworm bowl
also wondering if the plant is okay to be set in the chemeleon cage?
I say for a beginning you are fine. Someone mentioned getting rid of the water bowl. Here's a tip for you, read, read, read. These forums are an awesome wealth of information from some knowledgable chameleon caretakers. There's a lot of people who think they know what they are talking about and there are people here that actually know what they are talking about. I would not get rid of that water bowl just yet. Mainly because you may not know the reason why. Chameleons don't recognize standing water, but looking at your setup, I see the water bowl has an air filter connected to it which creates moving water. Your Chameleon will drink from that. Its not the best way for your Chameleon to drink, but it will work. My point is this, start doing your homework. Ask questions. Fill out the infamous form. And go from there. Don't let anyone detour you from changing your setup just because its not like theirs. Example: Chameleons are Abreaol Creatures, meaning they live in the trees. So technically you don't need all those wood chips on the bottom of the cage. But if you only put them there for looks and to make your habitat look more appealing, its your chameleon, do what you like to your cage. But do this, Read, Read, Read. Gather as much information as possible (Both negative and Positive), as go from there. I'm not going to tell you what to do here. I'm still learning a lot myself. But there are is a lot of information here. You need to figure out what is good information, and what is bad.
