Just got my new 24x24x48 reptibreeze cage. Have a monsoon misting system set up with it. Dual dome with reptisun 5.0 (have a 24in hood with reptisun 5.0 otw to replace this) and day basking bulb. Live hibiscus plant. Fake fines and zoo med jungle vines.

Looks good! I can tell you right now though, you are gonna have a heck of a time keeping your hibiscus alive. They are a flowering plant and need a lot of sun. You could add a 6500K growlight to your enclosure and it would help keep it alive. They can be purchased at homedepot. They are a strip light and would also help brighten up your cage. It will not harm your chameleon either.

I am new but I like the look. What 2 bulbs do you have in your dual dome? Is the basking in the dome by it self?

I am getting my baby today and want to make sure I have all the right stuff. I have the dual dome with the reptisun 5.0 and the day bulb and can switch out to the night bulb but I do not have a basking bulb. Do I need one?

Thanks,

Looks Good!

As mentioned earlier you will need a grow light for your plants.
OR, you could get a quad fixture from lightyourreptiles.com. The quad will benefit both you chameleon and plants. And Arcadia lights will last longer in terms of UVB efficiency.

Good Luck!

Looks great! The ReptiBreeze enclosures are always most suitable for Chams. However, if you live in a dryer region, be very aware of the humidity. I talked to a breeder who had transferred her Chams over to the ReptiBreeze and because it was so large and ventilated, the Cham passed due to the lack of humidity.

Live plants will absolutely help keep the humidity up ad will as misting them. Good luck, it looks like your Chameleon will have a great time in there :)

So far I haven't had any issues with humidity. Will see what the colder months bring. when I have to run the furnace all winter it gets pretty dry in my house.
