Hi

Sorry Im new to the site and just in need of some quick advice, we have eggs hatching so far 22, and was wondering how long before we can move them on to new homes?

Any help would be great we have waited 7 months never thinking they would hatch and now they have.

Thx in advance

Steve

I will guess you are asking about selling then to new owners, correct? Most breeders like to wait 3 months until they are sure the babies are fine. But it is your decision what you want to do. If the chams are going to knowledgeable cham people the a bit earlier is fine. jmo

They can go right away to a rearing enclosure.

And they can be sold/shipped at around 3 months (this is the age i see most breeders selling them at)

It depends how fast they grow. Most breeders let them go at 10-12 weeks. They need to be big enough to eat 3wk crickets. Its importiant there new owners are able to get small enough crickets. Most pet shops dont sell pinheads. At 8 weeks you can start looking for homes, That will give the new owners time to get there enclosure all set up.Good luck with your babies
