How long do you mist your veiled Chameleon

I will be purchasing my first veiled chameleon very soon (I'm very excited) but before I do, I want to make sure that I have the environment setup correctly. I will be using a Mist King system. The question I have is, how often to you mist and how long is the mister on at each duration for a veiled chameleon?

I run mine one hour after his lights come on for 4.5 minutes then 4.5 hours after that for 4 minutes and 2 hours before his lights go off for 4.5 minutes with one 30 second interval between each session to keep up humidity. But I'm no expert!

I think the requirement for each enclosure is going to be different. Mine right now is

7 AM 4 mins
12 PM 6 mins
3 PM 6 mins
6 PM 4 mins

Misting schedules will vary, depending on heat and humidity in the home. Currently, I mist x3 per day at 5 min increments and all is well. Lucky is well hydrated and drinks freely from the leaves at the afternoon and evening misting. The humidity in the enclosure fluctuates between 70-90% respectively, with each misting. I have wrapped two sides of the cage with plastic to retain humidity. The house in winter has a relatively low humidity (40-50% ) and temps range @ 70* F +/- throughout the day and 60* F +/- at night.

It depends. If you have a combo cage or a glass cage, misting will need to be shorter. But an all screen cage is different. I usually do 4 minutes as my minimum, unless I add an extra 2 minute misting during our hotter months, and I always do an early morning misting of 8-10 minutes.

10min soak in the morning and evening for humidity. 6 more 3-6min soaks during the day, 3min if summer 6 if winter.

Thank you all for the advice!! I'm happy to know that there are so many people willing to share their experience and advice!
