How long without pooping

I just got Annie on Friday, she was mailed on Wed, She hasn't pooped in the box she was mailed in or since she has been here. She looks very bloated, I don't know if it is eggs of if she just isn't pooping. Should I be concerned? I don't know of any thing I can do but I do worry, knowing she hasn't pooped in a while.

her last poop was monday evening. but i couldn't get her to eat anything. she would look at it and close her eyes. i forced her to eat A cricket on tuesday. hydrated her well wednesday (no food wednesday for shipping) and thats all i got....

Yesterday I talked to the vet who you referred me too, after we talked she agreed the best thing for me to do was follow a course of neocalglucol in her water and force feeding as required. Yesterday I fed her water and 10 phoenix worms, at 3 seperate feedings. Si far today she has had her water with neocalglucol and 4 wax worms. She seems to be moving around fairly well but looks bloated or has lots of eggs. I am just trying to do whatever I can for her.

I seem to remember Lily taking up to 10 days to poop on more than one occasion! Seemed like a lifetime, and believe me, it's much easier to clean up daily rather than 10 day's worth all in once go! Eeww! As she hasn't been eating I wouldn't worry just yet - if nothing goes in there's nothing to come out, lol! :D Poor little orphan Annie!

is she eating for you or is she just closing her eyes to the food?

she has always looked very bloated which is why i always had a laying bin for her "J.I.C."

I am force feeding her. I open her little mouth, put the food in and she wolfs it down,no problem. She sure does fight the water. That girl just doesn't like to drink. She is very alert & is moving around fairly well, so far so good. I am hopeful.

yes, she HATES water. i had her on automatic misting and it seemed to really stress her out. she would move SO fast, and so far away. i would come home after work and she would still be hiding in the top corner of the cage, as far away as she could get from the water. i thought she would just take a while to get use to it but she never did. The girl has a very strong dis-like for the stuff :)

oh, if you can get hornworms she LOVES them! and their full of fluid. she will shoot her tongue for those yummy things! just stand back she gets them to squirt pretty far :-D

If she does like misting why not include a pothos and a drip in her cage. My veiled chameleons like to drink the water of the plants. The drip signals them at there is water there when they want to drink. One of my chameleons will eat his plant with the water on it.

Perhaps a visit to the vet for x-rays would show you whether she has eggs in her or perhaps even how much feces is in her?
