I would personally leave both if the provider of the house isn't fond of having chameleons in the first place.

Chameleons are exotic animals with some pretty exotic vet and upkeep costs. I hope you take this into account before removing an animal from it's (somewhat) natural habitat.

chameleonfreak...he really does need to go to a vet. Its good of you to try to help him rather than just letting him die in the wild. He's very sick though and I hope he can make it. Good luck!
