How many hornworms a day?

So I just ordered a pod of 16 hornworms. How many of these a day should my cham consume?

1 every other day. They are just giant bags of water in terms of nutrition. You will get runny poop if you up the dosage

I feed them as about 20% of my chameleons diet. One of my boys eats more than that though.

Their nutritional content is as follows:
Protein: 9%
fat: 3.07%
Calcium: 46.4mg/100g
Moisture: 85%

I get them about once a month, usually as a pod of medium to large worms, and since my house is warm they grow super quickly. Therefore, I will feed them off fairly often during the week or so I have them. So between 3 adult Meller's, maybe it comes out to about 1-2 a day each for that week? Sometimes if the cup really has a lot of them and I don't want to give each one like 5-6 a day I will allow a few worms to become moths and then each chameleon will get a couple of those once they morph.

Other feeders I will rotate much more evenly (so they aren't the bulk of meals consistently) but at the speed that hornworms grow I will usually make them a feature the days/week I have them in the house. Not that the Meller's complain, by any means!
