They are usually up at 7:45am and out at about 8:30pm.
Lights are on at 8am and off at 8:30pm. I can usually hear them going to their basking spots at about 7:45am, and they retreat to their sleeping spots at about 8:15pm.
Amy's lights are on a timer to coincide with sunrise and sunset. The UV and heat lamps have separate timers - with the UV coming on 30 mins before the heat in the morning and vice versa in the evening. At the moment heat turns off at 8.15 p.m. and UV goes off at 8.45 p.m. She is roosting earlier at the moment as the weather has been rather dull and cloudy. On bright sunny days she stays up longer.
My veiled chameleon is a lazy little sod.
His lights go on at 6.30AM for twelve hrs, but he usually finds his sleeping spot 3 hrs early!!!
Could there be something wrong?
