How many is too many? (Feeding Question)

Sorry for those who thought it was an addiction to reptiles thread going up, but I was just curious how many crickets was too many for a month old Veiled Cham? Right now, Wiz eats about 15-20 small crickets a day (10 in the morning, 10 more in the afternoon). He is rather large for a month old, easily could be mistaken for two or three compared to some. He could tackle larger crickets, prob in the medium range, but I also feed a few of my crickets to my crested gecko too who is definitely smaller. I just wanted to make sure that Wiz isnt going to overeat and explode - I know this wont happen but you should see his poops, they are ridiculous.

Thanks,
Matt & Britt

I think that's a gud amount, iam new to chameleons myself but my 2 are doin gud. As he's a baby he shud eat as much as he can. Least u no he's big, strong n healthy. U r giving calcium yeah?? N other vits?

no that is not over feeding. As he gets older start introducing some other feeders also and cut a little back on the crickets then.

Make sure you really stay on the calcium! It's more likely that he isn't getting enough to him getting too much, so make sure you really supplement well. The guys that grow very quickly are in higher need of calcium to keep up with their growth. So make sure you don't skip any days :)
