How many nozzles :p and veiled watering?

How many nozzles (from the promist pm60) am I going to need to use in my panthers enclosure that is 3x2x4? has 3 ficus and vines and bendabranches in it :D? will one nozzle cover it or will i need to use both? i want to know before it gets here XD can't wait.

Also, I know that veileds can thrive in a wider range of humidity levels than what my panther needs, and they don't need as much humidity...so my question is-will the veiled be fine with just a dripper in his 3x2x4 cage and me misting him once a day? or should i run a nozzle from the pm60 to it as well? right now the panthers cage gets about 32 ounces of water misted on it 4 times a day, and the veiled about 8 ounces 3 times a day, it evaporates rather quickly. they both have drippers as well.

Just because veileds can survive with lower humidity doesn't mean you should water less. They both need to be misted at least twice a day for at least a minute each time. They should both have drippers as well.

i'm taking good care of them. my question is, does the veiled need a nozzle? the reason i am getting the mister is so that i can be more lazy :p. he gets his dripper and his mistings plenty right now.

but i see where u may have said that, in my question would he be fine once a day with the dripper. :p.

cool lol. :D. it's gonna go off every 2 hours. the humidity here is hard to keep up :p. its at 10 percent in my house :O.

Hi,

well, in Kentucky the humidity should be droping about now (if not for a month or two ago), so no, 1 misting is not enough.

to be honest. I mist 4 to 5 times durring the winter months, regardless that I have panthers.
you're not just misting for them to get a drink, but to bump up the humidity so they can get some moisture from their nose while breathing.

if you're dripper is running for about 2 hours or more each day, then you can maybe mist less, but not only once.
personaly, I would mist at least 3 times a day besides the dripper for an adult.
if no dripper, then 4 to 5 times a day.

try a cool mist humidifier for the cham's room.
I use the one made by vicks and it OK.
it helps raise the rooms humidity so the humidity in the cage never drops too low.

yeahp, i got a BIG BIG BIG dripper, so it drips around 5-7 hours a day, and i mist it for about 5 minutes each, 3 times a day, my mom mists them when im not here. at first she was afraid of them, now she loves to do it XD haha, but we are getting the mister so we wont have to mist! :D. just refill and clean and feed :p. then breed. :D.

For a veiled and or panther... misting every other hour.... for a minute or two is fine....... but only a short bit, you just want to get things damp. but in the late morning (lights on around 8ish..... misting around 10) for 20 minutes is a good idea. and then do that one more time about two or three hours before lights out.... with no more misting for the day. you MIGHT do a short mist in the middle of the night... just to get humidity up again...

I'm ordering 2 misting systems and 3 more cages any day now.
now I gata just wait and pray for healthy babys...come on Laurie and Josh, kick them eggs and make them hatch. :p

my veiled gets misted 3 times a day for about 90 seconds each and has a dripper going all 12 hours his lights are on and ive had no problem with him at all. Hes always hydrated and doing ok. His first shed i had a problem with about 2% on one of his sides, but it was his very first one and i didnt have everything sorted out then. on days i noticed thigns getting a bit too dry i give him a 4th misting

I do have a cool mist humidifier-the penguin one, it goes on for 15 minutes every hour. the room is the basement :p. so its rather large and very hard to keep the humidty and ambient cage temperature up. i will let you guys know/see my complete set up beginning of january. i have to order more ficus from lll :p.
