I ordered 1500 crickets which were set to arrive today prior to 7 o'clock. Well I had to take my kid to the ER because I thought she may have swelling in her throat (she's fine) and I missed the stupid FedEx guy by an hour and a half.
I opened my cricket box to find them all looking dead, although I have them under heating lamps hoping they will bounce back. The heat packs in the box were ICE cold, and the potatoes they put in for food were literally FROZEN. I imagine these suckers have been "dead" far longer than they were sitting at my door.
So basically, I can't call them for the live arrival guarantee even though the frozen solid potato leads me to believe it wasn't totally my fault they're in this state.
My question is, HOW MUCH cold can a cricket take, and how long will it be before I know if I just flushed thirty five bucks down the toilet? Is it possible they'll come out of it?
