How much is YOUR Electric Bill??

I've always wondered how much everyones electric bill is?? The place I live in my friend used to rent before we moved in and he only paid $50-70 at the most...
We pay over $200 a month and have 8 Chams!!! Ahhh...What about Everyone else here???

400.00 range, but getting new roof, and solar soon. So will pay about the same for a couple of years til the solar savings kicks in.

When I had my highest number of 6, I still only paid about $70 on the hottest AC months. $50 if it's a colder month. And I lived in a two bedroom apartment.

Edit- I guess let me add that I was in a 8-900 square foot apartment. So not huge.

$400 range as well with a 1800 sq ft house and 15 chams and a cpl other reptiles and the hot Texas summers(6 months long lol).

1700 sq ft house 1 cham but two teenagers who leave every light, fan, tv etc on when no one is around! so I am around $220(highest bill) in the hot months and anywhere from $120-150. I was getting $350 in the hot summer months before we got a high efficiency AC unit. We pretty much run our AC all year round. When my chamleon is not in his indoor cage I shut everything off!

When I had my 1800sq ft home with more reptiles then Tanzania has, 400-600bucks...we also had 2 teenage girls at the time to.....so Im blaming the high bills on them.....

If it is really cold (below 0) or really hot (85+) then my bill will run about $700 give or take a bit. I have a good sized home but except for babies am down to just a few chams.

Ahh My Gosh...Some of those bills are HIGH - I guess mine isn't so bad compared, but still does enough damage!

This month was $330... the month before was like $290... In the winter I have it down to 70 bucks. This place is POORLY insulated... so when the AC is running it's fighting hard to keep cool... plus all the lights don't help. In the cooler months the windows are open or closed based on how warm I want things... I let the lights do the heating. I only run the heater one month a year I think.

In CA we get boned...... you can use a certain amount and not pay a 'lot'.... but you go over that and they just stick it to ya! sorry.... not ALL of us can use less. Yes.... the family with wasteful kids... sure, hit them with the fee... but those of us with a need for the power, give us a break
