How much to feed an adult?

I'm sure its been asked somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I put about 20-25 big crickets into each of the adult panther cages on wednesday and a lot are still there...i put in 9 superworms into each today along with 2 silkworms...enuf? Too much?

That is a bit much for mine but I don't own Panthers. I usually add about 10 in for an Adult and see how she/he does with them. Sometimes mine only eat 4-5 and some times they eat all 10.

But 20-25 is alot me thinks. The thought is that you don't want to leave the crickets in there over night for fear that they may start biting your Chameleon.

Whoa  Adult panthers need about 4-6 med to lg crickets a day. If you are going to use different feeders, I wouldn't put them all in at the same time. Maybe do crickets one day, silkworms the next and so on. Depending on the size of the silkworms 2-3 large or 4-5 med should be plenty. If your cham is eating that much, then it should be pooping alot. If not, there maybe a problem with constipation. Others feed adults every other day. Are you dusting "all" the feeders? If so, they maybe overdoing it.

oh wow, good to know. I will wait till they finish the current lot and then hold off a day before I give them more. And no, I didnt dust the crickets, just lightly dusted the superworms. If they dont eat everything b4 lights out, ill take them out.

I usually dust two feeders and hand feed those, that way I know the cham got his supplement then the rest undusted. Your chams could get bored with their food knowing it is always there. Also, my panther got hooked on superworms and now he won't eat crickets, worms only. Sooooooo I have to order hornworms and silkworms for variety. I have some mantids feeders too.
