How much should 3-4 month old chams eat? Like how many cricket's or dubia's per day? I think they are getting the right amount but I want to make sure. :)

I would max out at 12 appropriately sized crickets a day. You want them to grow, but not too fast. :)

Okay, I'm only Answering your question. Do what you please with the information.

Slow growth is not unhealthy; in fact it just might be healthier. 3-6 feeders a day is sufficient for a more gradual growth rate. 12 feeders a day will support a large growth spurt. I personally, would keep it around 5-10 a day. Slow growth rates usually yield stronger, healthier bones.

How much you feed them depends partly on the size of crickets you are using. I usually feed them as much as they can eat in a couple of minutes at each feeding....and the crickets are of a size that would fit into its mouth easily.

Yeah, the crickets I feed them fills up their mouths nicely. So nice size ones. :D

THANK YOU, If these people fed fish like this they would kill them or the tank. I guess they think I want HULK CHAMS. :D

I feed Ferguson 8 crickets a day I think someone mentioned on this thread to feed between 5 and 10 so I decided to go into the middle when I read that months ago and since 7 1/2 crickets would create kind of a mess I went with 8 but thats just me
