How old is my Cham?

Hi all . I got my veiled chameleon about a week and a half ago. His name is Rafi. I was told he is a Sub-Adult (about 6-8 months), but I feel like he’s small. Is he under size? Is he just younger?
I would love to know so I can adjust feeding amounts. Thank you!
(I have since replaced almost all the fake plants, I learned they are bad)

Hi. I’m not the greatest at determining age, but I’d guess around 6-7 months looks about right. Some are smaller or larger than others.

You’re welcome! Just a quick tip...you can hang the fake plants on the outside of your enclosure. Gives your cham more sense of hiding and can prettify a screen enclosure.

My estimate would be about 8 months because they are normally fully grown in about a year
