Hey everyone. I bought a Panther Chameleon 3 days ago. I was told he was 2 months old. i have been comparing pictures of other chameleons his age and he is tiny compared to them. So I'm wondering if the person that sold him to me was honest. Thanks for your help!

I don't think that animal is 2 months old. Its pretty small. I would give a guess at a few weeks. Or maybe the animal wasn't feed very well at all, but I don't think a 2 month old animal would be that small even if starved to the brink of death.

Every baby cham has their own growth rate, its matter of how much u trust with ur breeder that tell u,and u shouldn't be nervous, instead u should do more research prior u bought ur baby cham, since u already own it,u will have to search even more knowledge in this forum by using the key word" baby panther" and read every useful thread from the forum search engine, hope this will help u a bit.

Okay thanks! When I was reading about his age I read that he should be eating 10-15 crickets a day and I couldn't imagine him fitting that many in his tiny body lol. I've only seen him eat 2 crickets since I've brought him home though :( hopefully he eats more soon.

Not sure about the age but make sure the feeders you're giving him are about the size of the space between his eyes
