How on earth do I get him off my arm/ head!?!?

So I posted a while back that my juvenile chameleon hated me, well now all he ever wants to do is be out on my hand!
Every day if he sees me in the living room (the sofa is directly across from his viv) he'll climb to the bottom and try and grab the glass as if to say "let me out human!"
His favourite thing is to climb up my hair and sit on my head, it's all nice and things because it's what I wanted and I love that we've bonded but I can NOT for the life of me get him back in! I can't coax him in with his food either, I've tried :/
He also starts to get annoyed when I put him back in, starting to hiss at me and go very dark and puffy and if I'm honest, it scares me a little and makes me nervous and want him off more than ever

Any help/ advice would be greatly apriciated

2 options. #1 Slowly slide your hand under his belly and he should climb onto your hand. Ignore his hissing. He's just trying to intimidate you. 99%of the time it's a bluff. #2 stick your whole head into his cage, and he will be in such a hurry to go back to his home he won't be able to get off quick enough! He looks about the age where veileds naturally hit their "teens" and are constantly grumpy. He should get through it in a few months and calm back down.

THey naturally want to climb to the highest point. Try putting you hand next to him with your elbow pointed up and tilt your head to the side so he climbs on your hand

Look on the bright side of it! Lots of people wish they could get their veileds to be friendly! My guy will walk on my hand then sometimes get mad, like he has no idea how he got there. Lol

Thanks :) had him out today and very gently put my hand under him, he didn't hiss or get angry at me, he did eventually go back in his viv :)

They're such little characters, I am lucky, I didn't think it would play out like this to be honest at first, he was terrified of me, I carried on hand feeding and it helps that his home is higher up than where we sit so he looks down on us, then all of a sudden he's in the last month come out of his shell no end! :)

Ya. That's typical. And he may go back and forth with his dislike of the general populous for a while, but just move slow and use big fat wiggly worms! They cant resist big fat wiggly worms!!(y)

I just put my hand under and lift without pulling. No way I'm slowly coaxing every chameleon to come in and out of the cage for every little thing lol. Would take me all day.
