how to clean ????

I have read that some hardly ever take there chams out , I was wondering how do they clean cages if they never take them out , I have a veild and panther and they get to free roam almost every day ,, they might hiss and puff up but only for a few seconds then they ready to roam

what i do is i bring the whole cage out (without my cham) and hose everything off inside of it. Then i bring it back inside in the shower and scrub everything with some safe soap to make everything antibacterial and smelling good lol. Then i rinse off all the soap and dry everything off lightly. Then reassemble the cage and before i put my cham in i try to handel with him a little bit so he would get use to me. The Best way i pick up my cham it i try to rub his chin and slide one of my fingers down his belly and once my finger is completely underneath him i gently pick him up. Usually he will resist and hiss a little but he will give up and put all four "mittens"on my hand and pull him out of his cage slowly. You need to try to get some type of a relationship with him. Every cham is different, usually tho when they are younger they try to run away from a human hand because that is just natural instinct, if that makes sense but with a little tlc and patience she/he will love to be handled

I don't have a problem with my 2 chams , I get them out every day and do just about the same as you do with the cages , just courious how these other cham owner will clean without handling them , I clean my 2 every week mostly on sunday after noon

1 or 2 times a month when he is free roaming I dilute some white vinegar with hot water and spray down the whole enclosure. I leave it a few minutes for it to soak in and then spray down with warm / hot water to make sure all the vinegar gets cleared out again.

Does a good job of removing all of the water marks from plants etc as well :)
