How to get Panther to eat mealworms

Hi, so I have had my panther chameleon for a month, and I have only fed him crickets. I could tell he was getting bored of the same feeder, so I went out and bought some small mealworms for him to mix it up, but he wouldn't eat them, and it looks like he doesn't even recognize it as food . Any ideas on how to get him to eat some mealworms ?

would it be fine to feed them to my bearded dragon ?
Yes, ditch the mealworms, not a good feeder for chameleons. Superworms, Dubia roaches, silkworms, hornworms etc are much better alternatives.
Your cham is smart! Mealworms can cause impaction and shouldnt be used as a feeder for chameleons. Try superworms instead or dubia roaches which works as well as crickets as base feeder

I doubt he knows there bad for him. I fear if I buy super worms he will do the same thing as he did with the mealworms

I don't know about your beardie but I would guess its ok.
If you hold one superworm between your fingers it will start to wiggle like crazy. My cham loves their movements and and won't wait a second to eat it
