how to get ur cham off the roof.

hey guys, i have onother question, recently Gonzo has been on the roof looking direcly at his uvb light, is this okay? i moved his heat dome away from there so he wouldnt get burnt but i dont know if i should just let it go on the roof or get him off, hes stuburn ive tried to get him off it and after a bit he will just climb on it again, so is this okay? and if not any ideas on how to stop it?

Give him a basking spot closer to that UV source, bend that branch a lot closer to it and hey may stop climbing on the roof, it seems like he just wants to soak in some extra UV.

Chams have the ablility to regulate their UV and heat intake, meaning they decide when they need more or less UV and heat. It sounds like he just wants some more UV, i would suggest what is said above.

i have onother question and its kindof off topic but i dont wanna make onother thread so people dont get ticked off, a white powder has been coming out of his nose recently and ive read that thats just crickets being dusted to much, but i havent dusted his crickets in a week because of this and its still happening, how do i get it to stop? his poop is fine tho its just white, sometimes it has a bit of yellow not a lot just a bit at the tip.

The obv thing is over supplementation but as you said you havent dusted them so then it will more than likely be the salt glands getting rid of some excess. I wouldnt woory about it alsong as he is Hydrated (white urates, eyes bulging, alert and eating) THe main reason for this is so that the cahm doesnt lose water by getting rid of the excess through there fecal matter.

I wouldnt stop dusting but just reduce the dusting. It shouldnt last too long. If more than a week then take him to see the vet just to get him checked over
