How to transport a chameleon to the vet

I'll be taking my 8 month ambilobe to the vet monday, it'll be his first visit for a routine checkup since I got him a few weeks ago. He is about 12" long. Any suggestions on what to transport him in? The vet is about 10 minutes from my house, so it's luckily a short trip in my case.

I do have some wood and screen that I can put a small carry box together, but was curious on how others transport their chams. Thanks. : )

I have a small 16 X 16X 30 screen cage. I use that.
