Humidifier Recommendations

Hey all!

I am looking to buy an humidifier for my Jackson chameleon. I used the search function and people recommend the PETSPIONEER but it’s currently out of stock in Amazon and other places I have looked so I was wondering if someone can recommend me a different humidifier brand.

I can't recommend a specific model, but having used a humidifyer for 10 years for my dart frog, I highly recommend the largest capacity you can get. Changing it becomes burdonsome very quickly.

Yeh that’s what I was thinking. Thanks! I got two 24x24x48 enclosures so I might need to buy two with 4L tanks at minimum.

These kind are nice, since it is a top loading. That way you wont have to flip the reservoir over every time you need a top off. It says it also has automatic shut off. I'm assuming you can let it run for a certain amount of time and it will shut itself off.

I just use it to keep the room more humid as my place is very dry, I also have the fogger for night. High capacity auto shutoff but if you end up getting it be sure it's not on warm mist cuz it does both

Some people like to increase the whole room humidity, others the enclosure.

Increasing the room, I'd need either several or one MUCH bigger.

I would get the petspioneer... It has a T so you can run to two and it is a top fill. Looks like they are on sale right now and will be in stock in another week. I would modify it though and replace the tubes with PVC pipes. Then water does not get caught up in the tubing. Lets it dry out better during the day.

Yes. I am planning to run it at nights so I wonder after how many days I will need to refill the tank.

Haha this is going to be the tricky part since it is for a Jackson chameleon. I will need to measure the humidity until it reaches 90%+ at nights haha

Get a govee temp/humidity gauge. Just ensure it is not in a direct spray path. This will show you exacts at any time you choose.

I ran a humidifier for 12 years for my dart frogs and it's a pain in the neck to refile every week. If you can, use your mister instead because it's an all in one solution with a bigger tank (hopefully).
