Was wondering if anyone could recommend me a good humidifier to use. I can't keep my humidity above 40-50%. I have a 3 mos old veiled.

Thanks in advance.

Alot of people put a shower curtain around 3 sides of the enclosure to help keep humidity in, best advice I can give you is invest in a mistking system, it's lil over $100 and you and your chameleon will both be happy about it!

Crane Drop shape ultrasonic cool mist humidyfer

I have a Crane Drop shape ultrasonic cool mist humidyfer and it is eazy to mod.. all you need is some duct tape for the seems and a 1/2 inch non toxic hose fits perfectly in to the top as you can see in the photo below and it's only around $40

good humidifier

What Ido is along with misting, I put live plants in my enclosure, that boosts up the humidity. Also, I go to walgreens and buy the ultra sonic cool mist humidifier. This works great for my chameleon, and I have had no problems. You could try the shower curtains too.

Nice I just got the Walgreens humidifier today it seams to work pretty good. I don't really want shower curtains it will look tacky to me. Ill eventually get live plants when I step up to a larger cage.

Thanks for the input I appreciate it.

you can go to a hardware store and get black plastic in the paint section. and use garden twist ties to put it on.. looks good and supper cheep with the amount you get

PVC works really well, they sell a fitting that will plumb directly into the humidifiers outlet, everything is hand fitted for easy removal and cleaning. I drilled holes every 1" and it really creates a nice fog without overly saturating the enclosure.
