Stores out of everything where you are too? Talked to my sister this morning and she said the stores are so empty by them (King) people were fighting over grabbing cold storage food because there was not much else to grab. My parents do have a generator but they sit on top of a hill high enough to look over the trees with a nearly clear view of pilot knob 12 mi away. Bit further inland then you of course though, hope you and your family come through safely :).

Yes, stores are nearing empty. A coworker was telling me she witnessed people stealing water out of other people's carts in Harris Teeter yesterday and lines for gas were backed up even as late as 10pm last night. Crazy times!!!

In deed!! Sister just said Wal-Mart had a police escort on a water delivery the store just got :eek:.
 
I live in St. Augustine, FL and have been here for over 50 years. For anyone who hasn't been through a major storm, my best advice would be to evacuate if you have someplace reasonable to stay if there is significant flooding or wind damage risk and leave early.
 
All my new stuff for the chameleons is probably going to be destroyed still at FedEx which really sucks 5 Arcadia bulbs/fixtures, acurite temp humidity digital thermometers/hygrometers Dragon Strand enclosures and when it comes mid October the chameleons are supposed to arrive from Steve Mcnary of Chameleons International. The Mist King ultimate as well. Not to mention all my other Geckos. The eggs are still in the incubator probably going to lose 6 clutches of eggs due power outages.
