Hybrid enclosure

I'm trying to build a hybrid cage with pvc board the problem is I can't find any at the hardware stores near me. Does anyone have a alternative i can use?

I don’t know if this would help you.

I have done this with a few enclosures. You take out the spline and screen. Get 20 gauge marine Vinyl. Lay it back over the screen frame. I used large paper clamps to hold the side in place. Run the spline tool into the grove over the vinyl so it creates an indent then lay in your spline. Do one side then its opposite. Do not over pull the vinyl though or it will flex your screen. Then do the other sides one at a time. This will make it lay in cleanly.

Coroplast, also known as Corrugated plastic, can be used. You will need to construct a sturdy frame which you can then attach the Corrugated plastic to using an adhesive such as silicone adhesive.

No idea why I remembered you explained about marine grade vinyl, when half the time I’m not sure what day it is.

Thin PVC panels also work, just screw into a frame and silicone the edges (though coroplast is way cheaper). Lowe’s, Home Depot, and I believe Menards, as well, all sell them. What size is your cage? I know Lowe’s and Menards sells the thicker PVC board, too, though I can’t remember if Lowe’s is in person or delivery, and if it’s sold out right now

Thank you I was thinking of making a frame out of aluminum screen frame. Now I just need to find the thickness so ot sits in The frame.

I haven't made the cage yet I was trying to find pvc board making the frame and screwing the top screen to the pvc and front as well, but I can't find any pvc 1/2" thick
