Hydrated or not ?

Hi my panther chams casque seems a bit drawn in , is this a sign of dehydration ? And also his poop seems ok it's dark then it's White no sign of orange :/ thanks

my cham had this problem so i got a fecal and he had pinworms that were taking his nutrition away from him. after i treated him for them it plumped up. what are you gutloading with? and have u ever had a fecal?

Signs of dehydration are sunken eyes and yelllow or orange urates.

Hi Ive just started feeding him with locusts and I'm gut loading with red pepper and rocket leaves and no not yet I phoned the vets this week to see how much a checkup is but it was 70 pounds which is a little over 100 dollars and I ain't got that money till I go back to work in a couple weeks, im self employed so don't get holiday pay

Well he's been on hunger strikes so that would explain then he's getting better now but I'm just curious

Because all the larger chams I've seen have had nice big casques :/

id get the fecal just to be sure. if u cant afford the checkup itself fecals are usually $25-$50 here by themselvs so that might be and option.

Ok people so Ive been searching google and have been reading up on pin worms and it says can cause poor appetite which Calvin has also diorria which he hasn't had apart from 1 poop was a bit runny tbh and as you said that was the cause of your chams deflated casque so I'm taking it to the vets ASAP for a fecal test thanks people

the vet gave me pancure i belive. i had to give him some by mouth everyday. he is by no means agressive so i had a hard time gettig him to open his mouth but i figured out if you slightly pinch/ hold their nostrils shut they open up thei mouth immediatley. Just figured ud have to do the same thing so...
