Hydration Question

I have a male panther chameleon that has had a tongue injury since i bought him from the Jungle Panther 4-5 months ago and i am worried that he is dehydrated due to the fact that he can't get water off leaves/branches when i mist his cage. what are some things i can do to ensure he's hydrated and healthy? Thanks!

You can use a dripper. that instead of dripping down onto leaves he can stand under and let drip into his mouth. it does take some time though

You can also do daily long showers, where he can just open his mouth and let it drip in as well.

Are his urates white?

Yes they are white and looking fine, i was just curious as to what i could do. Would putting him in the shower be another option??

absolutely.

they can open their mouths and let water run into it.

What is the best way to do that? just throw a plant of some sort in the shower and let part of it be in the stream of water and the other part remain dry? and should the water be cool or warmer?

im im not mistaken like a luke warm temp should be fine, and point the shower head off the wall so the water bounces off the wall and onto the plant/cham

put a plant in the shower, aim the shower head towards the wall, so the water bounces off the wall and makes a mist, which lands on the plant.

the water should be warm, but not hot.
