I am new but wish to participate

Hi. I am young and have had a chameleon for almost 8 months. I have been worried about my chameleon (Named NinjaStar) many times and have had questions. This website has helped me many times as well as the day I joined. I now a bit about chameleons now and have considered breeding. I am interested in helping as much as I can as well as being helped. Hello, I figure I will put in my two sense about breeding.

Breeding takes a lot of time, money, and knowledge. It sounds like you are on the right track to learning more and more so congratulations. But just as some advice, you may be ready to breed but you may also want to make sure your parents are willing to put forth the extra money for separate cages, 1000's of crickets, and possibly extra vet visits for the many things that can go wrong with chameleons.

I was like you when I was young and wanted to breed, turned out I bit off a lot more than I could chew. I had sports, school, and when my family wanted to go out of town I didn't have the control to not go on trips and stay home with the reptiles.

Breeding is definitely something to be researched and thought deeply about before getting into. as djfishygillz said, it takes a lot of time, knowledge, and money to have a sucessesfull breeding project!
