I Bought A New Jackson's

Well I decided to return my little guy who wasn't eating anything and I couldn't figure out why. So I got my money back from PetSmart and bought a 4 month old Jackson's from FLChams.com. The owner of the site seemed like a good man and provided me with good information. He's going to be my second chameleon, and I hope I can provide him with a good home. Any advice here from any Jax owners?

I think you made a good choice returning it to petsmart, and going with a reputable breeder.

Make sure you have your humidity up, jacksons req a bit more than panther and vieleds.

Hi guys thanks. I'm aware that Jackson's need a bit more humidity, thankfully the enclosure I'm going to have him in seems to retain a bit more than my veiled's. I didn't know FLChams was so reputable. Although I have yet to receive any correspondence regarding a tracking number or a shipment notification. Thanks guys!

Thanks Julirs. I did indeed get a tracking number. The owner of the site did what I figured he would and sent my guy at the end of the day to minimize his time in transit. I can't wait to get him tomorrow. He looked completely righteous in his pics.

My male loves the cam.. my female hisses and turns all but black if she sees it. So I do understand. I hope he is there soon!

I LOVE chameleon arrival days! I sit and wait by the door pratically from 8-10 on those days and listen for the UPS truck! Get your camera ready! We love to see new chams coming out of the box and going into their new homes!

Thanks Tydis, he's already working out better. Almost as soon as I got him out of his packaging and into his new enclosure he started eating crickets crawling around in there. I'm much happier knowing that he's that hardy.

Edit: OK I finally got a picture of him now that he's kind of settled in. I haven't figured a name for him yet but I'll come up with something. Enjoy!
