I did it! I held Bella! (Spider warning!)

Yesterday, I finally held Bella, my Regal Jumping spider, for the first time. It was amazing and I should have been brave enough to sooner! Could only feel her when she moved she's so beautiful! Here's a video I took. I am so proud of myself! It's taken 8 months to pluck up the courage to do this and I'm still trying hard to retrain my brain.

I wholeheartedly endorse the Spider Warning label on this thread :D There's no way I'm going to watch that video, sorry to say, because I value not having nightmares (though I've been having workmares so this might be an improvement), but she does look sweet and innocent in the pictures. However, I think that's her way of sucking you in and dropping your guard before the inevitable attack...

I've do everything it again! This time I held Buster, my male! He's tiny and not so scary after all!

OMG she is adorable. What is it the snow man said on Bugs Bunny? "and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him... ...and pat him and pet him and... ...and rub him and caress him and..."
I don't think they would like that any better than Daffy Duck did.
