I did it! I held Bella! (Spider warning!)

Yesterday, I finally held Bella, my Regal Jumping spider, for the first time. It was amazing and I should have been brave enough to sooner! Could only feel her when she moved she's so beautiful! Here's a video I took. I am so proud of myself! It's taken 8 months to pluck up the courage to do this and I'm still trying hard to retrain my brain.

I wholeheartedly endorse the Spider Warning label on this thread There's no way I'm going to watch that video, sorry to say, because I value not having nightmares (though I've been having workmares so this might be an improvement), but she does look sweet and innocent in the pictures. However, I think that's her way of sucking you in and dropping your guard before the inevitable attack...

OMG she is adorable. What is it the snow man said on Bugs Bunny? "and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him... ...and pat him and pet him and... ...and rub him and caress him and..."
I don't think they would like that any better than Daffy Duck did.
