Well i have 2 veild chameleons, one male (5-6 months maybe) one female (3-4 months maybe )they have been able to kind of see each other, but have never really noticed each otjer before and never seemed to bother them. Well tnese last few days i think they noticed each other, they have been racing around their cage almost looking to get the others attention. well i covered the one side so they cant see each other. Well now its all most like they are looking for each other now. So i thought i would let them see each other, well he puffs up but he doesnt get his " angry colors " he just flares up, she gets pretty dark but runs away from him, but its not like sje flares up amd hisses just runs away. Well now these last few days she has been searching on the bottom of her cage.

Please can someone explain whats going on or what i should do?

You have probably put her in a reproductive mode by allowing her to see the male....although she's awfully young to be sexually mature yet. I would put an opaque container of washed playsand (12" deep x 12" x 8") in her cage in case she is getting ready to lay eggs....even though she is too young. She may only be showing the dark colors because she is non-receptive too.

veileds are one of the most solitary of chams in my personal opinion. keep the males and femals in seperate rooms if possible. the female might just being trying to find a way to excape my male veiled grumpo does this all the time cause he knows and i'm sure yours do too that the doors swing out and they try opening them that way. good thing to keep them hidden from each other now. if he isn't showing his angry colors he may just be trying to swoon her. if you plan on mating them don't not until the female is at least a year old and is receptive of the male but watch it if you do breed them i've seen the males trying to attack female veileds even while during the mating sequence. you will know if the female is receptive cause i believe they shot blue dots on their side and if you notice her starting to get wide and buldges in the side she's got eggs and feed her regular calcium or liquid drop calcium with every feeding cause they draw all the nutrients from their bodys and if you don't keep their nutrients up they can get egg bound and die. welcome to the forums and don't ever be afraid to ask anything cause the only stupid question there is, is the one never asked!!!

Yeah, get an egg laying bin for just in case, and stop them seeing each other. It was fine at first as young children, but your male came onto her in an aggressive Chameleony way and she's only about 8 in Chameleon years so she's a bit stressed out. If you can move the viv, or trick the female into thinking she's moved with a little rearranging that will probably solve it.

Thanks
I did both of those things, i got her a bin and tried rearranging her cage, she seems lazy yesterday afternoon and this morning, but she is eating fine, her colors are fine, so i guess i will just have to keep an eye on her

Woukd it be best for me to just give her extra calicum anyways just to be safe?

A very little bit of extra calcium is a good idea, but only dust a very few, maybe 2 or 3 a day extra for about 5 days. Letting her lay eggs early can cause you to lose her so be very careful.
