i got babys

i was doing my morning misting and feeding of my chams this morning started off with my panther as usual then onto my male pygmy and found 2 little babys hanging out on a branch about midway up the tank sadly mother cant see them as she died a couple of month ago.
ive took them out and put them into a bucket with paper towels in the bottom and a few sticks n twigs until i get a small tank to put them in.
now im off to get sum pin heads n fruit flys as the guy i get my bugs off hasnt got any till next week.

i cant get any pin heads or fruit flys till friday and think the small crickets ive got are to big

congratz. i cant wait to see. mabey you can get fruit flys by puting fruit outside and wait and trap them. while in the mean time order some. i dont know if where you live where theirs alot of fruit flys though or if you trust snatching them from outside. gr8luck with those little sweeties!

im from the uk.
ive just read that they will eat springtails is this true. i have loads in my tank should i put them back into the tank so they can eat the springtails until my order comes on friday. geting worried they will starve as i cant get any pin heads or fruitflys till friday

i do think they need to eat. i have never had "babies" or pygmys but if someone would like to back that up i dont c a problem with them eating them. if they will than let them i think. better than nothing for starting out.

Check with guys on uk mantid forums they always have pins and ff's to feed their mantids. You mite find someone close to you that would sell you a few to hold you over.

ill have alook now cheers, there must be about 8 shops that sell bugs in my area and every time i go in them they always have pin heads n fruit flys now i need them they aint got any
