I wanted to feed "Osang" (Female baby Vieled) a wide variety of eats, so I decided to try and raise some various insects. I ordered some Silkies from Mulberry Farms and they are growing like weeds!
I ordered the smalls and they sent a variety of sizes, all still within correct size for her to eat safely. I also got some Fly pupae from Mantis Place. I ordered 500 Blue Bottles and 500 Reg House Flys. They flies arrived today and should start to hatch within the next week She has been eatting alot lately, 15 or so 1/4" crickets, as well as 3-4 medium sizes silkies a day. I split the feedings, once at about 8:30am and once again at about 6:30 pm. She is pretty spoiled now with her crickets,mealworms,silkies,blue bottle flies, and house flies! She seams to really enjoy those silkies, I got her to eat them off of my hand finally, which was a real treat for me! Here are a few pictures of the Buffet.....Enjoy!!
